Yes, that's me at Gulf Shores.

I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, and after a long career teaching in the Cleveland, Ohio area, have finally settled in Nashville, Tennessee.  As a child, I often spent some of my free time sketching, but never had any formal art instruction.  After college, I pursued a career teaching mathematics and spent many happy years teaching and raising my family.  While I never had much free time, I dabbled in some different forms of painting classes when I could.  Now retired, I have the time to spend on what I've realized is my true passion - realistic watercolor painting.  I've been experimenting with adding gouache paint lately.

 It's a dream to be continuing my formal art education in the classroom and through self-study.  I am a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, the Watercolor Society of Alabama and the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance.  I am fortunate to be represented by THREE galleries, All About Art & Custom Framing in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
